Buses weeping rain

carry people from home to home,

on the shiny wet pavement,

like on a black starry sky.

It's been pouring all week in this city,

droplets roll down my heart and jacket,

from the bus weeping rain

I count the stars on the wet pavement.

until I'm blue

in this sad colour of blue,

like a very cool silk,

in the sky's colour

i’ll sing the colour blue.

Buses weeping rain

like enormous polar seals,

look for their place in the rain

blowing clouds of steam.

After strained backs and chills

neon colour flash, by

buses weeping rain

have such lovely mugs.

To tears, tear...

And if it stops raining in this town,

where will I fit in with my sadness,

with a bus weeping rain

I'll ride to a place where the rain doesn't stop.
