All of Me [English [Old English] translation]

Hƿæt ƿolde iċ ƿiðūtan þinum ƿīsum mūþe dō?

Meċ tō inne ġetēonde, ond þu tō meċ ūte spornende.

Hæfst mīn hēafod spinnende, ne gliƿienne,

Iċ cann ne þeċ forhealde.1

Hƿæt is in þǣm fæġerum mōde becumende?

Iċ on þīnre drȳliċre dēaᵹolre rāde eom.

Ond iċ eom sƿīðe tealt, cnāƿe ne hƿæt meċ ġesƿungen, ac iċ ƿille eallriht bēo.

Mīn hēafod is underƿætre,

Ac iċ eom fȳr orðiene.

For þon þe mīn eall

Lufaþ þīnes eall.

Lufiġe þīna hyldinga ond ealla þīne eċġa,

Ġief tō mē þīnre ealle,

Iċ ƿille þeċ ġiefe mīnne ealne.

Þu eart mīn ende ond fruma,

Hƿænne iċ forlēose eac iċ eom ġeƿinnende.

For þon þe iċ þeċ ġiefe mīnnes ealne,

Ond þu meċ ġiefst þīne ealle.

For þon þe iċ þeċ ġiefe mīnnes ealne,

Ond þu meċ ġiefst þīne ealle.

Iċ þeċ ġiefe mīn eall,

Ond þu meċ ġiefst þīn eall.

1. There's no equivalent of this phrase in old English, so I used the phrase "þeċ forhealde" which literally means "hold you back" or "keep you held back" or "withhold you".2. Playing cards originated sometime around the 1370s, a long 300 years after the Anglo-Saxon era had ended (1066), so there is no Old English word for "cards" in this context. I have just used to word "carte" which means paper (cognate with the modern German word "Karte" but with a slightly different meaning).
