Vieni a vivere con me [English translation]
Vieni a vivere con me [English translation]
I’m coming to live with you,
you know, I fell in love
and life is too short
and we can’t lose any time,
or, perhaps, it’s really time
that can’t lose us.
Come and live with me,
you know how many things we could do.
You could play the piano
while I’m spreading some mayonnaise.
I could spread some of it on your neck
and, while licking you, make Bach tremble.
Against the boredom of TV,
to watch only the ads,
the shows, not those,
those we will make them.
And then, after having taken a bath,
run to the cinema to watch a film.
We could be happy and commit a bunch of sins,
we could be happy and, at times, a bit desperate.
We could tell each other certain things to make the skin get goosebumps,
we could do certain things that they'd shoot us in the back.
We could study a way
to live without having to work,
study the hour to go to the beach,
decide whom to vote for,
go downtown with the bike,
the bike tra-la-le-rooh-la.
And to learn how to dance the tango
that, in life, is always useful,
talk for an hour about what colour
to repaint the ceiling
and then, in silence, lower the eyes
looking for new angles to kiss.
We could be happy and commit a bunch of sins,
we could be happy and, at times, a bit desperate.
We could tell each other certain things to make the skin get goosebumps,
we could do certain things that they'd shoot us in the back.
