Bruixes [English translation]
Bruixes [English translation]
Magic, spells and witches
pursued by the inquisition;
without a mask, swindlers
who believe, and friars are ...
They call old women witches
for having a cardboard face
but there are only mages
where there's inquisition
It was in times of sadness, of fear, tears and hysteria
when two young women decided.
They undertook a journey, only air in their pockets
and they made their way to the neighbouring town.
A man saw them and convinced them to sit
at a table surrounded by smoke.
The night was black, the bed was black
where the trap became a nightmare
when they poisoned him with their kisses.
As witches we say that it's your turn to die
through your veins, our poison runs!
As witches we say that it's your turn to die
through your veins, our poison runs!
Now the Royal Guard takes a look, amidst the cries of the estate
finding there the scene of a crime
Measures are implemented on strangers
sentenced by Divine Order.
And the people of that town, carrying wood and furniture
constructed a large pyre
Lighting the bonfire, they cry: "fire and more firewood!"
accomplices to this terrible fate.
The witches now catch fire, the flames blind them,
in agony, they curse everything:
"The sight of us frightens you, therefore close your eyes to the world
because whilst we burn, from the flame you will see
how the spirit of the tortured woman is reborn!"
As witches we say that it's your turn to die
through your veins, our poison runs!
As witches we say that it's your turn to die
through your veins, our poison runs!
On the following morning, the cockerel did not sing and they saw
the town dead and destroyed.
And from within the ashes, two girls were seen
waking up and raising their heads
It was in times of sadness, of fear, tears and hysteria
when two young women decided.
They undertook a journey, only air in their pockets
and they made their way to the neighbouring town.
