1. "Kukko" would literally mean a rooster, but I suppose it refers to kalakukko, which is a loaf of bread with fish baked inside of it. It's a traditional food from Savonia.2. Woven rugs ("raanu" in Finnish) are used as wall textiles, but originally they were used as bed covers.
