קצת אנשים [Ktsat Anashim] [English translation]
We're part people
And a little part paper
Because from the side you can see
How life folds us
Until we wrinkle up
Part people
And a little part photographs
All of our lives in frames
You can't blame us
That's nature, that's us
Once again the mood is wrong
Once again I reject everything but satisfactions
And maybe everybody's right, I always walk on tight ropes
And beneath me the water's deep, but I keep on being stubborn,
Until we fill our pockets, we make our dreams come true,
Maybe we could seal some cracks in our hearts
Maybe we could shut the mouths of some people I know
Just to see those who talked now being silent
Between to be and not to be, a genius and an idiot
It's not really living when they tell you how to live
Sometimes you're not alive despite having a pulse
Dreaming of the spotlight even when there's no light in the distance.
We're part people
And a little part paper
Because from the side you can see
How life folds us
Until we wrinkle up
Part people
And a little part photographs
All of our lives in frames
You can't blame us
That's nature, that's us
So I sing to all those who are like me
To the broke who'll one day be worth millions
To all those who got raging hormones in their bodies
Your greatest motivation will grow from poverty
To all those who got a childhood's dream in their blood
And who'll get in from the window when their door will be shut
Standing for hours in front of the mirror, imagining the way
Going back into your town and everybody's cheering for the king
I dedicate this to anyone who struggles with being in frames
Just because you think differently doesn't mean you're crazy
To all those who have fire in their bones
Hold on tight 'cause this train isn't stopping
We're part people
And a little part paper
Because from the side you can see
How life folds us
Until we wrinkle up
Part people
And a little part photographs
All of our lives in frames
You can't blame us,
That's nature, that's us
