1. 'mit dem Kopf durch die Wand' hat eine andere Bedeutung als das uebliche 'mit dem Kopf gegen die Wand rennen'. Ersteres ist gepraegt von unerbittlicher Sturheit, ein 'auf Biegen und Brechen' Wille, selbst angesichts evtl. Zwecklosigkeit, waehrend gegen die Wand etwas Aussichtloses hat, ein Ausdruck von Wollen und das Wissen um das Nichtkoennen. Also 'my way or the highway' durch die Wand vs. aus Verzweiflung/Wut gegen die Wand. Nur meine persoenliche Meinung
