And here this night I thought I was alive.

And here this night I thought I really could fly.

And my town seemed to be a wonder world

And into this world I immersed headlong.

From the black tree limbs poured silence of the birds

Accompanied by the toll of my dry lashes and eye lids.

And from the black holes, a beguiling fright

Beckoned to irrevocably drown in its blight.

And I was getting high, dancing under the streetlight's lite.

And, then, it seemed there was a purpose to my life.

My brain was as bright as the moon, no less,

And heart sounded like the bell of wickedness.

And here this night I thought I was alive.

And here this night I thought I really could fly.

And my town seemed to be a wonder world

And into this world I immersed headlong.
