NSYNC Reunites at Justin Timberlake Gig, Performs New Song

The writing was on the wall, literally.

Last week in Los Angeles wheatpaste posters went up announcing a free Justin Timberlake concert at the historic jewel box Wiltern Theater.

The former Disney Channel star tweeted this photo with a link to how to get tickets and quickly the 1,850 seats were accounted for. Little did the fans know how lucky they were about to be.

JT and his band, The Nashville Kids, performed a perfectly fine show in a venue a fraction the size they typically rock. Early on SexyBack and My Love filled the art deco gem on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and Western Ave. in the heart of the Koreatown neighborhood.

Timberlake kicked off a mini acoustic portion with his newest song, Selfish whose video has already been seen 19 million times.

When the band returned to the stage, so did the jams. Senorita, Rock Your Body, and Suit Tie got the exceedingly hyped crowd back on their feet.

Before that act was finished, JT brought out the delightful Coco Jones to duet on Until The End of Time and one of her songs, ICU.

He ended with a passionate version of Cry Me A River.

Perfectly fine set for a free show on a school night. Right?

But that was not the end. On stage right, DJ Andrew Hypes spun a variety of dance songs from Jay-Z to BBD to MJ as Justin sang along to it in front of a closed curtain.

Justin then asked something along the lines of do you want to go all the way back?

DJ Hypes then spun the NSYNC hit Gone and the hint quickly became reality.

With his hands covering his belt buckle, JT looked forward as the curtain raised and who were revealed? Who else: Chris, Lance, Joey and JC -- all looking spectacular -- who walked out to the lip of the stage to the shrieks of the typically chill Los Angeles crowd.

The song was 2002s Girlfriend, delivered mostly a cappella, but who would even know with all the screaming usually reserved for arenas of teens.

Before the overheated attendees could take a breath, the quintet quickly belted Bye Bye Bye to the delight of every single person in the house.

After Its Gotta Be Me, the cliche stools made their comeback appearance. It had been 11 years, after all, of collecting dust as the boy band hadnt harmonized together since the 2013 MTV VMAs.

The good news was the stools were for a live debut of the new tune Paradise that drops Friday on Timberlakes latest release, Everything I Thought It Was.

Yes indeed, NSYNC are guest stars on the forthcoming Justin Timberlake album produced by Timbaland.

Justins world tour kicks off next month in Canada but he soon finds his way in the USA and then over to Europe.

Most of 2024 is booked for JT in support of this new album. Will his old group make more special appearances with him? Get tickets now and find out.
