Breezes lyrics
Breezes lyrics
Many breezes blow,
they whisk us to and fro.
Every man and woman has a stream
and when they sense the gust,
which they feel they trust,
cast their anchors and chart a dream.
But breezes fail and die.
People cannot fly,
so they must ply their lives
upon the ground.
Unless by some sweet chance
a new wind turns their plans,
they soar ever higher with the sound
until with time and life
and years of love and strife
they learn to watch the breezes pass above.
They learn that what they sought
cannot be found or bought:
the breeze, the breath of life, the touch of love.
They learn that what they sought
cannot be found or bought:
the breeze, the breath of life, the touch of love.
