‘Loki’ Season 2 Premiere Reaches 10.9 Million Views in Three Days, Per Disney1

The Loki Season 2 premiere opened to solid viewership numbers in its first three days of availability.

According to Disney, the second season launch of the Marvel Studios series pulled in 10.9 million views in its first three days of availability, with the premiere debuting on Oct. 5. A view is defined as total stream time divided by runtime, a measure both Disney and Netflix have recently embraced.

Streamers have slowly begin to roll out more in-depth viewership information for their titles. Recently, Disney announced that the film Elemental pulled in 26.4 million views in its first five days on Disney+, while the live-action Little Mermaid pulled in 16 million in the same timeframe. Meanwhile, the live-action Star Wars series Ahsoka is said to have generated 14 million views in five days when it debuted in August.

Tom Hiddleston returned in the role of the god of mischief in Season 2 of Loki, along with Season 1 stars like Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Tara Strong, as well as new addition Ke Huy Quan.

Eric Martin serves as head writer and executive producer for Season 2. Hiddleston is also an executive producer along with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, Louis DEsposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. Wright, Justin Benson Aaron Moorhead, and Michael Waldron. Trevor Waterson is co-executive producer. Benson Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw, and Kasra Farahani were directors on the season.

New episodes of Loki debut Thursdays at 9 pm ET/6pm PT on Disney+.
