Roses lyrics
Roses lyrics
Amidst the gardens growing
Amongst the many thorns bared
Lies beauty tender, fragrant
The petals softly hued - the rose
They are far fewer than briars
That grow as obsticles to all
And forbidding, they stay most
Though the brave venture near
A testament to valour in danger
Its sharp points so unyielding
That beauty be admired from afar
Preserved, its splendor intact
Nature keeps its most cherished
Such frailty and botanical form
Are paralled in human kind
Care taken to bring them love
There are many thorns to elude
Their snares and snags severe
In opposition of the few prized
Blossoms of infrequent beauty
