Il canto della preistoria [English translation]
Il canto della preistoria [English translation]
And now that we are here again,
Who knows if it will repeat again or not.
It rises up very softly
The breath in me,
Like a frail breeze
Moving the wind and you, [too].
And you open your eyes,
And you open wide - to me -
Impenetrable forests
And vast planes moving,
Waving, and I...
I'm the wind and you're my grass,
I - then - am the tempest,
And you - suddenlty - madness and we...
We're molecules,
Lost somewhere, who knows where?
Most vivid spring
Of eternity.
And you open your eyes,
And you drag me
Over inaccesible mountains,
And glaciers melt and their waters runs down -
Impetuous.
And blood sweetly flows back to the ardent soul.
And our bodies... [the soul] is lost,
And once again matter is dissolve, fused and we,
We are molecules
Lost somewhere, who knows where?
Most vivid spring
Of eternity.
