Green like a summer wind

of bewitched forests

and bewitched hollyhocks

For you little gardener

Planted one thousand sweet peas

In scarecrow`s shabby coat

He wanted to swear you love

So with a basket of sweet peas the little scarecrow

looked you in the eye for the first time

And found a thousand colours more

than he dreamt about in the night

And since then under your window

Bewitched, stony

With bunch of sweet peas stands

Romantic faithful scarecrow

You have such red lips

Red like the fire of auroras

of bewitched dawns

and bewitched roses

For you little gardener

Planted climbing roses

That he was spellbound by you

He wanted to hold you spellbound with them

And with an armful of roses he came once

to ask for one your word

He was blinded by your shining eyes

You were colourfully silent

And since then under your window

Sweet peas flower and roses

Like tenuous bindweed

They climb and climb the wall
