1. caraotal: field planted with beans, from "caraota": bean in Venezuelan Spanish2. guamacho: a cactus with leaves and yellow flowers that grows in and near Venezuela3. le dan sabana: means he is put out to pasture or retired4. caballo desbocao: can be translated wild horse or runaway horse5. alazana: chestnut, a horse having a body color of any shade of pure or reddish brown with mane & tail of the same or lighter color6. potra: filly, a young female horse, esp. one less than four years old7. falsetas: bridle, the headgear used to control a horse8. freno: bit, a type of horse tack used in equestrian activities, placed in the mouth of a horse to assists a rider in communicating with the animal9. falsas riendas: A false rein is a strap passing between the front legs, from the center of the collar to the belly band, to hold the collar in position.
